Adventure Ho!

Hello penguins! Today I am going to present to you all an interesting fact about one of the most popular parties ever, the Adventure Party.

The original Adventure Party ran from June 12th to June 16th, 2009 and was popular enough to warrant its first spinoff party, the Island Adventure Party, in 2010, and for the Island Adventure Party to encore in 2011, which was well-recieved, justifying another spinoff sponsored by Innocent Smoothies, titled the Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit in 2012.

During the very first Adventure Party, there were a few party rooms that most people seem to forget about. The one I am going to talk about is the Dock.

The Dock was replaced for the Island Adventure Party in 2010. It wasn't around for long enough to be fondly remembered by many, and not vastly different enough for a large amount of people to remember it for being unique; but I think this room is quite interesting in itself.

Instead of having a moving background like the team would have done if this party were to come out in 2013, it has two wheels spinning counterclockwise that loop a matte painting of the rainforest to give the effect that you are in the rainforest, but also still on Club Penguin Island.

I hope you found this fact interesting. If you did I will post more facts on August 22nd, 29th, and 30th for you all to enjoy. But until then, what do you think of this room? Goodbye!
