Stars and Celebrities

Hello penguins! This post will teach you about a party with quite a few special guests that attended. Enjoy!

With the exception of the Music Jams having the Cadence and the Penguin Band, most parties only have one famous Club Penguin character visiting. In 2013, the Hollywood Party began, and oddly, four different characters were waddling around at this party. This party saw Gary, Aunt Arctic, Cadence, and Sensei available at meetups and similar events.

So what do you think of this move? Did you meet any of the mascots that the Hollywood Party? Goodbye!

Casa Fiesta! The Musical

Hello penguins! Today I will be telling you about an old song that appears as if nobody remembers its existence.

In 2008, Club Penguin decided to make a new theme song for the returning Winter Fiesta party. This led to the creation of 229. 229 is most well known today as the Ski Village music from the 10th Anniversary Party, but that track was actually not played in that during the Music Jam 2011. The real song that played is titled 292, and is actually a bit creepy in parts. Listen to it by clicking the song ID or by clicking the following link:

This is the link.

Do you like the song 292? Between that and 229, which one do you prefer? Goodbye!

Cancelling Construction

Hello penguins! Today I will be telling you all about a weird construction project that occurred earlier in Club Penguin's history. So let's begin!

In March of 2009, the fourth annual St. Patrick's Day Party was coming up, and as Club Penguin does every once in a while, a few locations were updated with objects used while setting up the party, such as construction equipment and paint cans. These objects were present in three rooms: the Ski Village, the Forest, and most oddly the Cove.
The Cove having construction is especially weird because the Cove was not decorated for the St. Patrick's Day Party of that year. Once the party started, it was reverted back to its regular state. Nobody is sure as to why this why this happened, and has since remained a mystery.

I hope you enjoy this fact! Why do you think there was construction at the Cove? Goodbye!

Rockhopper's Adventure Party Background

Hello penguins! I will now display a fun fact about some of Rockhopper's older backgrounds released specifically for the Adventure Parties.

In 2009, the team decided to try something new with meeting mascots: party-specific backgrounds. At the Adventure Party, meeting Rockhopper would result in collecting a new item. This item was the Rockhopper Background (9029). It features the Captain, Yarr, and the Migrator covered in plants.

In 2012, this was done once more at the fourth Adventure Party, the Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit. This time, the image featured Captain Rockhopper wearing tropical facepaint, his puffle Yarr, the forest, and a volcano exploding with raspberries.

Which one do you prefer? Do you think the Adventure Party should return? Do you have any of these backgrounds? Goodbye!

The Water Park

Hello penguins! I will now be showcasing a popular room from a past Summer Party in Club Penguin.

The fourth and final takeover of 2013 was sure interesting; it was a combination of the Music Jam 2011, the Summer Kickoff Party 2007, and the Water Party 2008, and including new elements from the Disney Channel Special "Teen Beach Movie". The Water Party division of the party featured obviously the party room Epic Wave, and also included the Waterpark.
The Stadium was transformed into a pool with water slides for this party. This room was quite popular, and is a favorite of many. Standing on any of the three gray arrows will take your penguin down the water slide and into the pool below.

Do you like this room? Would you like it to return? Bonus points to anyone who can tell me what item was available in this room. Goodbye!

The Surprise Party

Hello penguins! Today I will share an interesting fact about an old party decided by the community.

In 2007, Club Penguin decided to let the community choose a party. The options were the Western Party, the Sports Party, and the Pirate Party. The poll was held from November 8th to the 14th, and the results were not revealed until the party had begun on November 23rd. And when the 23rd arrived, the party began, and it turned out to be the Western Party.

Did you attend the Surprise Party? Would you be willing to participate in another party poll? Goodbye!

The Serving Table

Hello penguins! Today I will be showcasing a cool feature that not too many penguins are aware of.

In 2011, Club Penguin decided it would be fun to introduce a new feature into the game. At the Puffle Party in February of that year, the tables at the Dance Lounge would react when food was served there. If a penguin served a table while wearing a food vendors' outfit such as the Coffee Apron or the Ice Cream Apron, the table would display that type of food. This returned at the Halloween Party and Card-Jitsu Party later that year. These features returned, of course, at the Pizza Parlor during the 10th Anniversary,

and during the Halloween Party 2015.

Do you enjoy this feature? What party would you like to see it at next? Goodbye!

The Rarest Background

Hello penguins! I will now be providing information about an often overlooked rare item in Club Penguin.

Backgrounds were released in May 2006. Since then, every background has been obtained by hundreds and possibly thousands of people. There is one exception, though. One background has been collected by less than 500 users. That item is the Penguin of the Week Background.
The Penguin of the Week Background was released in March of 2014 and can only be obtained by being or having been Penguin of the Week. While this item is rare, it is possible for anyone to obtain it; a new penguin has this item added to their inventory nearly every week.

I hope you found this secret interesting. Do you have the Penguin of the Week Background? Goodbye!

The Final Easter

Hello penguins! Today I will be talking about the last time Club Penguin released anything for Easter.

Club Penguin held a tradition of having an Easter Egg Hunt every year beginning in 2006 and ending the tradition in 2012. Many players especially liked events such as these, so at the Puffle Party 2014, Club Penguin released a final item for Easter.

The Lavender Bunny Ears were released in April 2014 and were available at the Beach for free for the duration of the annual Puffle Party. This item is similar to previous Bunny Ears, most notably the Pink Bunny Ears, having similar colors. The items were released once again at the 10th Anniversary Party in the Daily Item Calendar, and have not encored since.

If you like this fact, come back later for more. Another secret about Easter may be posted soon. Goodbye!
